Hear it from us

Decoding an American Muslim girl. When most of you think of young Muslimahs the last thing you think is that we can think for ourselves. This blogs enables you to take a walk with young Muslimahs through life.

These high schoolers are fed up  of the misconceptions of Islam portrayed in the world today and finally decided to make the narrative our own.

Islam had raised the level of women 1400 years back. Its time we reclaim our position. Here we would like to spread awareness about gender equality, the role of women in Islam and primarily peace- the literal meaning of Quran. The real women of Islam of the past and the present while we carve our own futures.

Our stories are just that- ours. We hope to spark honest and respectful discussions on the life of a Muslimah.

We hope that all young girls can enable themselves to filter the kaleidoscope of visions that they are looked through and find themselves in the light of their status in Islam.

Follow us in our journey to strengthen our Islamic identity while we demystify it. Follow us on a journey while we create our own path.
